When Choosing a Prom Dress, Whose Opinion Matters the Most?

The prom is an important milestone in a young girl's life, so much so, that she may start thinking about it while still in junior high. What a young girl sees in a movie about proms, may influence her expectations of her own prom. A girl has special memories of her prom night for years, especially when she remembers the dress she wore.

Many teen girls have a lot of fun - and a lot of stress - choosing their perfect prom dress. Hopefully, the fun will prevail over the stress! These pieces of advice will reduce stress and help you get a prom dress that looks good, fits your personality, and fits beautifully.

One problem is, of course, peer pressure and concerns over acceptance and acknowledgment from your peers at school. All girls say they want their dress to be unique. But when they are choosing a prom dress, customers may be afraid of what their friends and others might think, if they select a dress that is truly different. Each girl wants to have her own unique style, yet she wants to fit in with what her peers are wearing as well.

A customer looking for a prom dress usually wants her friends to approve it before she buys it. So even if she loves the dress, and it is the last one of its kind, she will probably not purchase it right away. Getting several opinions about your dress choices is always a wise decision. If you get opinions from friends, be careful and consider the source; whether they intend it or not, friends' opinions can be affected by their knowledge of your normal wardrobe, or their desire to not be upstaged by what you're wearing.

The store sales people will also offer their opinion. Their experience with a variety of styles and body types makes them a wonderful resource, and you should pay close attention to what they say. Though it is also important to consider your personality, the salesperson rarely knows you, which makes it easier for them to offer suggestions to you on styles that differ from your norm. Watch that the sales people don't suggest only the most expensive options for you. They may only have the desire to make a sale on their mind, and could be giving a dishonest assessment of how the color and clothing style work with your body type and skin tone. Look for a store known for honesty and experience. You can really pick up on the honesty of the salesperson, if they are telling you that an expensive dress doesn't really work on you.

Remember that you are the one who is going to be wearing the dress, so the ultimate choice is up to you. Friends and salespeople can be helpful, but YOU must like the dress also! Have fun, don't stress, and make sure that you open yourself to different possibilities when it comes to style. You may be quite surprised at what you come up with. Even if you have a unique style, don't be afraid to express yourself.

3 Tips To Help The Over 40’s Get Back Into Work

There’s nothing worse than being out of work and, if you’re over 40, the impact can be greater especially if you encounter prospective employers who tend to overlook you in preference to younger applicants.

But don’t despair. Follow these three tips and you might find yourself back in work sooner than you anticipated.

1. Welcome The Employment Break

Most people’s immediate reaction to losing a job is to experience low esteem which is not a good feeling to have when job hunting. Instead accept that cradle to grave jobs are going the way of the dodo and that redundancy is a part of life that is inescapable. In fact, this may be your best opportunity to seriously consider what you want from life.

Perhaps you would prefer to have a complete change of direction. Remember that employers want you for your core skills rather than a particular job function, so changing direction is often quite feasible.

Maybe you qualify for an early pension so can afford to take a job that pays less but is more rewarding. You might want a job related to a hobby. Or you might want to work for a charity. Perhaps you were weighed down by responsibility in your previous role and would prefer something less taxing.

Perhaps you are fed up with the daily commute and would prefer a job that enabled you to work from home or at flexible times that enable you to enjoy other aspects of your life. What ever you decide it’s important to…

2. Get A Temporary Job

Approach temporary job agencies with a view to getting yourself a temporary job. Remember you have skills to offer that an employee may need quickly to fill a short-term vacancy. Maybe someone has taken extensive sick leave or has left unexpectedly.

Landing a job to fill someone else’s shoes at short notice is much easier than landing a permanent position. And it has it’s own advantages. It keeps you employed so you won’t get despondent. It keeps money coming in so you won’t fret about how to pay bills. Most importantly, it enables you to demonstrate your skills to your new employer and places you in the best position to be offered a permanent position.

3. Research Unadvertised Jobs

This is a great way to find a job not least because no one else may be aware of it so you won’t face the same level of competition. Keep abreast of what’s going on in your industry and look for opportunities. Maybe a company in your field is opening a new factory or warehouse or office or outlet where it is likely that your skills could be utilised.

Research on the Internet or by calling the company to find the name of the person heading the department that may unknowingly have a position that you could fill. Write to that person congratulating them on their company’s growth that necessitates a new factory or warehouse or office or outlet and say that you expect they will need to hire a person with your skills. Tell them in bullet points what those skills are and attach your resume.

Follow these three steps and you’ll find that losing a job need not be a traumatic experience. Indeed you can turn the situation to your advantage. In fact, it’s just the sort of situation that you might need in order to propel you into taking your life forward to its next exciting stage.

Choosing Carpet in Scottsdale, Arizona

How to choose the carpet in a right way, living in Scottsdale, Arizona? In this short review we describe how to choose the carpet correctly and make no mistakes during buying.

The carpet quality depends on its density. Density describes the amount of pile in the carpet and how close the tufts are to one another. In general, the more dense the carpet the better the quality. Check density by pressing your fingers on the carpet and trying to reach the backing. It will be difficult to reach the backing of a very dense carpet. With the tufts facing outward, bend the carpet into a U shape to see how much of the carpet backing shows. The less backing you see, the more dense the carpet.

Cut Pile
The best-selling type of carpet is textured cut pile. Cutting looped carpet fibers at the top creates cut pile with yarn bundles standing straight. Preshearing cut pile several times creates a luxurious appearance. Cut pile is less resistant to crushing than other types of carpet.

Saxony
Saxonies are tightly twisted cut piles that are heatset straight. Saxonies consist of two or more fibers twisted together in a yarn. They provide a soft texture for formal and informal areas. Saxonies show every footprint and vacuum-cleaner mark. These carpets have medium durability.

Texture and Textured Saxonies
Textures are the best-selling carpets and work well in informal areas (such as family rooms and children's bedrooms) because of its soft feel. Textures are tightly twisted and texture heatset for medium durability. They have a multi-colored look that disguises tracks and footprints.

Velvet/Plush
Velvets/Plushes are lightly twisted and have a uniform color. They are softer and more level than textures. This type of carpet is ideal for formal areas (such as formal living rooms and master bedrooms) because of its luxurious appearance. Velvets/Plushes show every footprint and vacuum-cleaner mark.

Frieze
Frieze is a highly twisted cut pile carpet suited for high traffic, informal areas. It has short fibers that tend to curl in different directions at the surface to hide footprints and vacuum marks.

Cut and Loop Pile
Cut and loop pile combines cut and looped fibers. It provides a variety of surface textures or sculptured effects for medium durability. Cut and loop pile carpets are available in solid or multiple colors. The different levels in this type of carpet can hide dirt and footprints in formal and informal areas.

Level Loop Pile
Level loop pile is made by weaving even loops of yarn into carpet backing at both ends. This type of carpet is very durable and track resistant because of its strong loops. Higher loops create a more luxurious appearance. Level loop piles with short and densely packed loops are easy to clean. They prevent dirt from filtering into carpet. This type of carpet is ideal for high traffic areas.

Berber
Berbers are increasing in popularity faster than any other type of carpet. Berbers limit footprints and vacuum tracks in informal areas. Berbers can have thicker yarns than other level loop pile carpets for high durability. These loops can retain dirt and may be damaged from snags. Berbers come in expensive wool fibers or less expensive nylon, olefin, or nylon-olefin fibers.

Multi-Level Loop Pile
Multi-level loop pile is like level loop pile except that the loop heights vary (usually two to three different loop heights). This carpet creates an appearance of random texture. This type of carpet is good for high traffic areas but the smaller loops can sometimes hold more dirt

Before Da Vince had a Code There was an Antichrist Code

Who isn’t familiar with Dan Brown’s provocative book, The Da Vinci Code that stepped on, what Christians consider, very sacred ground? His absorbing tale of Jesus’ earthly lineage through Mary Magdalene sparked passionate debates around the world. Was Jesus married? Were original documents destroyed to keep his secret safe? Is his claim to divinity a charade? Before Da Vince had a Code there was an Antichrist Code that blows the Da Vinci Code out of the water.

The Blueprint of Deception

The Antichrist is known by many names all related to the same goal of discrediting God, reducing Jesus Christ to an ignoble prophet or do-gooder; but behind the masks there is one central character who has been with mankind from the beginning—the Antichrist spirit, who is Satan himself, spinning his web of lies.

Satan’s blueprint of deception and plot to destroy the human race can be traced to the ancient writings of Enoch and Adam. Adam had first hand knowledge of Satan’s intrusion into this dimension and quotes Satan as saying, “Inasmuch as we do not know the day agreed upon with you by your God, nor the hour in which thou shalt be delivered, for that reason will we multiply war and murder upon thee and thy seed after thee. This is our will and our good pleasure, that we may not leave one of the sons of men to inherit our orders in heaven” (1 Adam and Eve 57:8–9).

Breaking the Code

"Breaking the Antichrist Code: The Blueprint of Deception", authored by Drs. Eric and Maria vonAnderseck, delivers on its promise to uncover the truth that Satan has tried to hide. This Christian book uncovers the shocking depth of resentment Satan holds against God that directly spawned six thousand years of war upon Adam’s race. Satan’s wish to suppress the truth about himself and hide God’s original plan for Adam began the most strategic and successful disinformation campaign humanity has ever known.

Enthralled by the intrigue of mystery, many “holy grail” industries have arisen, seeking to unlock the secrets of life in many DNA codes. From the astrobiologists who examine microbes from Mars to unlock the mystery of “are we alone,” to alchemists who seek to escape the curse of death, everyone is looking for the “elixir of life.” Other such “holy grail” searches include the hunt for the chalice of the Last Supper, a variation of which hints at a blasphemous “royal” bloodline to Christ through Mary Magdalene. For centuries, humankind has been influenced by many Arthurian legends that enchant the mind with information that would lead to power over evil. Books like The Da Vinci Code demonstrate how the soul is fascinated with codes, mystery, intrigue, and the possibilities of unlocking a hidden power that can transcend mortal restrictions to experience the God-Code that intuitively rings true about our original creation and potential.

Uncovering the Truth

The authors conduct a complete step-by-step analysis of Satan’s code of deception that he has used for six thousand years to acculturate the world to his system. Central to their analysis is an examination of Satan’s psych history. The authors put Satan on the psychologist’s couch and picked his brain to uncover the truth about his expulsion from heaven and the cause of his madness. What made Satan step outside of the divine order that God had given to him? What prize did God seemingly withhold from him that drove Satan to countermand God and steal the prize for himself? Satan is said to have had his eye on the throne of God. If the throne of God was never promised to Satan, yet Satan aspired it, to whom did God make the promise to share His throne? The spirit of Antichrist dates back to that history. Uncovering the truth about that history also unlocks the mystery of good and evil, the fall of man from the grace of God, our changed reality, the human condition, and the motives of fallen angels’ intercourse, both spiritual and physical, with the human race.

With apostolic authority and precision apostle Eric vonAnderseck weaves together scriptures from the Bible, the books of Enoch, and 1 Adam and Eve to put together the most comprehensive study of human history ever written, answering deep spiritual questions that have plagued mankind since the dawn of time.

Piercing Care

In order to prevent an inflammation, your fresh piercing demands for constant ongoing care. During at least two weeks, twice a day minimum, you will have to clean your wound with special liquid disinfectant, up to complete healing will be achieved. Please use only oil-free antiseptic creams, forget about the sauna, pool and solarium, swimming in natural water basins and especially in sea water, because sea water slows the healing process.

Should any complications (such as severe redness, pain, etc.) occur, rush to the dermatologist immediately. Could happen, the doctor will have to remove your ring.

If you have managed without an inflammation, wear first adornment until the wound heals completely. Otherwise, it might easy catch dirt, and this time an inflammation will develop for sure.
No other care products are allowed, except recommended ones, and no other creams should be used but oil-free.

Please refer to the description of the professionally done piercing after-effects provided below:

1) Stable redness, which is expected to go down in 3-4 days;
2) Bleeding can last over some two-three days;
3) Extra sensitivity will bother you for approximately 2 weeks;
4) There will be some discharge of white-yellowish liquid for nearly 2 weeks, which is just normal and good for healing;
5) It could slightly decrease in size.

See below for all the stuff you would need for your aftercare procedures:

- Special solution, broad spectrum antiseptic. This liquid they will recommend you in the piercing saloon.

- You have to rinse piercing twice a day – in the morning and in the night – for the entire healing period. To do this, soak cosmetic swabs or tissue in your special liquid and clean the area of puncture from discharged blood plasma and lymph. Don’t even think about scratching off this bloody scab from around the ring with your nails! To remove it, moist the ring with the soaked little cotton pad, pressing it against the area for half an hour. Do not turn your ring over!

- There is no need to clean your piercing for too often, and it is not recommended. You don’t want to irritate your wound and thus prolong the healing. On the other hand, it is not advisable to rinse the puncture less than 2 times a day, as it may allow an infection to develop.
